Our community group's objectives arE

To promote and create opportunities for members to get involved with different aspects of Irish cultural activities.

To support newly arrived Irish immigrants/ migrants to settle in the Southwest .

To foster social interaction and networking opportunities between the Irish born, those of Irish descent and those interested in Irish culture.

To carry out such activities to advance the standing of the Irish in Southwest and publicise the activities of the group.

SWICG values the uniqueness of individuals and the diversity of people living in the southwest, and welcomes people from all ethnicity, culture, race, social class, gender, age, religious belief, sexual identity, mental and physical ability.
